MAESTRO MOSAICS INTRODUCES ECO-FRIENDLY SEASHELL TILES TO THE UNITED STATES
Products debut at Surfaces Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas
CHICAGO -- Feb 3, 2006 --

Mother nature’s impact in the home is more prolific as Chicago-based Maestro Mosaics by Granite & Marble Resources, Inc. introduces its new line of seashell tiles. Debuting at Surfaces in Las Vegas, Nev., Jan. 31-Feb. 3, 2006, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, the highly crafted, patterned seashell tiles are both eco-friendly and aesthetically delightful.

“Bringing our new line of seashell products to the United States is a natural extension of what we’ve been doing for years,” said Robert Briggs, vice president and general manager of Maestro Mosaics by Granite & Marble Resources, Inc. “We continually add to our vast selection of glass and stone products. It was only a matter of time before we found another one of nature’s treasures on earth and brought it into the world of interior design.”

The new seashell tiles will be available in 12” x 12” squares. In addition to its medium price point being attractive to designers and consumers alike, the detailed pattern in the tiles are made possible from the striking mother of pearl and abalones family of seashells, among others.

As with its new coconut shell tiles and accessories, Maestro Mosaics’ seashell tiles’ ideal use would be on wall surfaces or as a detailed accent piece used with other natural materials such as glass and stone tile, which ultimately will create a warm, natural ambiance for any room of the home. Maintenance is made easy due to the seashell’s water-friendly composition.
